Our Story
BRProducts was established in early 2019 with the goal of providing high quality products to customers in the construction and landscaping industries. The company was founded in a garage in Queensland, Australia, and initially focused on manufacturing concrete aspros for manholes. However, the manual process of pouring 350kg concrete donuts proved to be both ineffective and unprofitable.
In an effort to diversify and find a more sustainable business model, the company turned its attention to manufacturing concrete sleepers. Working with a team of dedicated professionals, BRProducts developed its own mould designs based on examples from the industry. After many trials and setbacks, the company was able to perfect the mould design and begin producing concrete sleepers in volume.
Unfortunately, the concrete sleeper manufacturing venture was ultimately unsuccessful, but the company learned valuable lessons about the importance of adaptability and innovation in business. Leveraging this knowledge, BRProducts pivoted its strategy once again and began importing cost-effective galvanized steel posts. Over time, the company was able to increase its quantity of imported products and establish itself as a reliable supplier in the market.

We supplied all the retaining wall materials to Matthew from Pembroke Construction to build some beautifully constructed single, double and triple tiered retaining walls. Matthew and his team had to battle the rain and mud to drill and concrete in the posts, making the quality of workmanship even more impressive.
46-48 Second Ave, Marsden
This was our first job working with Brodie from O’neil Construction. This wall had to be built in very close proximity to stormwater pipes, hence it required longer posts and a very careful hand when drilling the post holes. Brodie and his team nailed it with no complications and built a beautiful concrete sleeper retaining
274 Toohey Rd, Tarragindi
This retaining wall was built in December/January 2021/22, and needed to be supplied at very short notice. This was a challenge as it is extremely busy at this time of the year, and concrete sleepers were in short supply. We managed to work out a delivery schedule that allowed Pembroke Construction to get the materials they needed to start the job in December, with the remaining materials arriving before the crew started the job back up in January.

What areas do you service?
We are based in Hemmant, Brisbane but we regularly service up to the Sunny Coast and down to the Gold Coast and as far inland as far inland as Toowoomba. If you need delivery beyond this we are more than happy to help, just give us a call and we can provide some options.
Do you have a display shed?
Yes! We have a display shed in Hemmant.
How high can I build a retaining wall?
Retaining walls can go as high as 4-5m, but a standard retaining wall goes as high as 3m. Anything higher generally requires custom galvanised steel posts.
How long should my galvanised steel posts be?
The general rule with concrete sleeper retaining walls is to double the wall height. A 1m high wall will require a 2m long post (a meter in the ground and a meter out of the ground).
Does my wall need engineering?
Any wall a meter or over in height requires engineering. In Logan all walls, regardless of height, require engineering.
How far in advance do I need to place an order?
For the majority of our stock we can deliver the same or next day. However, due to the demand for some of our textured sleepers, it can take up to two weeks (worst case scenario) for the sleepers to be produced. We’re always happy for you to call and enquire about our availability, and we will do everything we can to get you the products on time.
Are your sleepers engineered?
Yes! All of our sleepers are engineered.
